Mrs. Katherine Altmann
Hello! My name is Katherine Altmann and I have had the pleasure of working at Hancock for over 20 years! I received my degree in Marine Science Chemistry, so as you can imagine, I love science. I also have a deep rooted love for books, and enjoy coordinating our two Scholastic Book Fairs every year! It is truly an honor to be working with our Hancock Families!

Mrs. Angelica Gapasin
Hi! My name is Angie Gapasin. I have been at Hancock Elementary for over 20 years. My dad was in the military and I used to live right here, up the street in the Murphy Canyon Housing area. I graduated from Serra High School and received my Liberal Arts degree at San Diego State University. I loved living in this housing area and made great friends that I still keep in touch with today. I love working with military dependents and understand how it feels to have a parent away for a period of time.

Ms. Michele Gonzalez
Hi! My name is Michele
Gonzalez, I have been teaching at Hancock since 2005. I have taught in San
Diego Unified School District since 2000. I really enjoy helping my students
develop a love of learning. I am originally from Indiana, and I studied at Indiana
University. I have a Master's degree in education. I have two grown children
and two cats. I love traveling, gardening, and doing yoga.
