Do We Have Your Cell Phone #?
For many communications with our families (especially in case of an emergency), it is important that your student record shows a primary contact with a cell phone number. Please help us ensure that at least one Emergency Contact for each of your students has a cell phone number listed in our system. You can do this one of two ways:
- Preferred Method: Update Contact Information on PowerSchool Parent Portal and be sure to look for the “Cell Phone” field. It must have a valid number listed.
- Alternately, stop into the office to view your student’s registration card and make the updates in person.

COVID Testing Update
Beginning Jan. 30, 2023, COVID-19 testing will shift from weekly site testing to an all home test kit model. Our last day of on site testing will be on Monday, January 23rd. If you wish to continue testing your child at home weekly, or as needed, families may pick up free home test kits from the office through the end of the 2022-23 school year. The district will continue contact tracing and case management for all students and staff until further notice. As a reminder, students should not attend school if they are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of any cold-like virus, until those symptoms start to improve and there is no fever for 24 hours (without use of fever-reducing medication). If any student tests positive for COVID-19, they should not attend school and report the illness to the school (see below).
Need to Report an Absence?
If your child will be absent please be sure to report your absence to the office, not just your teacher. You may report the absence using this google form OR you may call our phone line at 619-605-3200 and press 1 for attendance to leave a message any day/time. Please be specific in your reason.
